About Training Inc.'s Career And Employment Services

Training Inc.’s Career and Employment Services division has been assisting thousands of Albertans plan careers and find employment since 1992. Our dedicated team of professional Employment Counsellors assess each job seeker’s needs and provide them with individualized and/or group-based support to ensure their career goals are met and that they find work as quickly as possible. Services are offered in partnership with the Government of Alberta, and are free-of-charge to eligible Albertans.

If you are employed or unemployed, and need help with career planning and/or finding work, you can access Training Inc.’s Career and Employment Services for *FREE!*. These services are offered in partnership with the Government of Alberta and are FREE-OF-CHARGE to eligible Albertans.

CHANGES – TRANSITION TO EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PROGRAM (TES)

Are you a job seeker who has limited skills due to working long-term employment with one employer? Do you have extensive work experience/skills in a specialized industry and are you seeking a new career? Changes will help you establish a career goal and provide you with the training and support you require to get connected to employment quickly.

FREE OF CHARGE for ALL eligible Albertans, in partnership with the Government of Alberta.

CONNECTIONS

Pre-employment Services

Connections is a pre-employment program, for Albertans who are on Income Support, and who need assistance to re-enter the workforce after being temporarily unavailable to work. This program is offered free-of-charge to eligible Albertans in partnership with Alberta Human Services.

  • Are you temporarily unavailable to work?….Maybe you have family care responsibilities or have been off work due to a medical leave?
  • Do you need help planning steps to return to work?
  • Are you dependent on government income support?

> If you said YES to these questions, then CONNECTIONS can help you!

OUR PROFESSIONAL TEAM OF EMPLOYMENT COUNSELLORS WILL PROVIDE YOU:

  • Personalized support in overcoming personal challenges and developing goals
  • Coaching with arrangements such as childcare, volunteer work, etc.
  • Professional job search and job maintenance support
  • Referrals to community support agencies and employers
  • Short-term courses to improve your employability
  • Access to job resource center

**A referral from the Government of Alberta is required to begin the CONNECTIONS program.**

However, if you are currently looking for work, or are not on Income Support, and want to start working with our Career & Employment Services right away, just call us to get started. Our Career & Employment Counsellors can assist you free-of-charge, as our programs are offered through a partnership with Alberta Human Services to eligible Albertans.

Career and Employment Services, including all services listed under Career and Employment Assistance are funded in partnership with the Government of Alberta and are offered FREE-OF-CHARGE to eligible Albertans who come to Training Inc.
