Workforce Training Program is an 8-week Government funded training program that prepares you for work in industries like agricultural, construction, logistics, production/manufacturing, transportation and oilfield. You will receive industry-recognized certifications and training that will prepare you to transition to work, and we will assist you with the employability training and job search support you need to be successful. Starting wages in these industries are very competitive and there are many opportunities for advancement! Solid training solutions for really flexible employment!

Training is funded in partnership with the Government of Canada and the Province of Alberta for eligible individuals!

Entrance Requirements

When you attend your information appointment, we will discuss several qualifying points, including

  • Are you an Alberta resident?
  • Are you unemployed or underemployed and looking for work?
  • Are you capable of performing physically demanding work?
  • Have you been out of high school for at least one year?

Chris joined our team in 2008. She is backed by 20 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, as well as an Accounting Diploma. Chris enjoys all aspects of working for a vocational school, especially interacting with students and staff.

Desi began his career as an Employment Advisor at Training Inc. in 2018. Since then he has been helping individuals find employment, facilitate job search workshops, instructing safety courses, and is currently the manager of the Workforce Training program. Prior to his role at Training Inc. Desi travelled and worked internationally, where he acquired a wealth of cultural experiences and knowledge. Desi enjoys the diversity in the people he meets at Training Inc.
