Ken is the President/Owner of Training Inc. He began his career here in 2001 as a Computer Instructor. Over the course of time he learned the business from the ground-up, taking on advanced instructional, managerial, and intake roles. Ken also gained additional experience working as a Network and Computer Consultant for a local Lethbridge company. In 2018 he and his wife purchased Training Inc. His favourite part of the job is being surrounded by “the world’s best staff”. He also gains great satisfaction in seeing our students and clients’ lives progress towards meaningful careers as a result of the support and training they receive at Training Inc.

Angela began her employment with us in 2005 as an Instructor in our past Esthetics program. Her role here has changed over the years, she is now the co-owner of Training Inc. She enjoys working at the front desk greeting and meeting new clients and students. Angela loves all of the staff, and her favourite part of co-owning Training Inc. is seeing people succeed, whether it be academically or finding employment.

Caleb joined the team in 2022 as a Technical Support Specialist, after completing a year of Computer Science at the University of Lethbridge. Caleb was a student in the Security Professional Training Program with extremely tech-savvy skills. This unique combination is an asset to the team because he enjoys finding effective solutions to complex technical issues. Working as a security professional provides an opportunity to apply his training and develop his problem-solving skills in a real-world setting. He is passionate about technology and security. Caleb is a valuable addition to the team.

Chris is the Finance Manager at Training Inc., and due to her versatile skill sets, she frequently helps out in other areas. You may see her at our reception desk, or instructing some of our classes. Chris joined our team in 2008. She is backed by 20 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, as well as an Accounting Diploma. Chris enjoys all aspects of working for a vocational school, especially interacting with students and staff.

Dana has returned to Training Inc. after a few years away. She has many years of experience in helping people gain and maintain employment, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Her passions are building relationships and helping individuals achieve their personal goals and aspirations. This extends to her co-workers, and she believes that great colleagues are those who make work seem like play. Her motto is: “The Only Way To Do Great Work, Is To Love What You Do”.

Dave is a Contracted Instructor and has been since 2007! He teaches H2S Alive, as well as Ground Disturbance Level II. Dave worked in the oil patch, and he shares his experiences while instructing, which is appreciated by his classes. He is invested in your safety!

Davina is a Blackfoot member of the Piikani Nation and joined our team in November 2023. She is the Employment Advisor and Job Developer at our Pincher Creek and Blairmore Offices. With 5 years in youth services, 4 years in employment services, and a background in Sociology and Psychology, Davina is excited to help her clients navigate the labour market through community networking and client relationship building.

Desi began his career as an Employment Advisor at Training Inc. in 2018. Since then he has been helping individuals find employment, facilitate job search workshops, instructing safety courses, and is currently the manager of the Workforce Training program. Prior to his role at Training Inc. Desi travelled and worked internationally, where he acquired a wealth of cultural experiences and knowledge. Desi enjoys the diversity in the people he meets at Training Inc.

Diane is one of the Admissions Advisors and has been a part of our team since 2009. She helps all of our Health Care Aide and Office Assistant students register and prepare for classes. Diane is a great resource for students needing assistance with student loan applications. She has many years of administrative experience, having previously worked as an Office Manager. Diane’s favourite part of working at Training Inc. is interacting with all of our staff and students. She loves being a part of a team where everyone genuinely wants to help each and every student meet their goals.

Ginger joined our Lethbridge office as an Admissions Advisor. She has well established roots in Southern Alberta, and her previous work career was primarily focused on Administration and Finance, before turning her attention to Aesthetics. She was the Owner/Operator of Beauty Eh Lash Salon for almost a decade. Ginger is now returning to her administrative roots, combining both occupations and life experiences to the role of Admissions Advisor at Training Inc. We are excited to have her on our team!

Joanne will likely be the first person who greets you when you come by our Pincher Creek office. Joanne is our Administrative Assistant and Safety Coordinator. She joined our team in 2021, and brings over 15 years of experience with her. Joanne enjoys working front-line with all of our students and job seekers.

Kaitlyn is in our team of Employment Advisors in our Lethbridge office. She received a Degree in Human Services through Athabasca University, and has 8 years of experience working within the school system in North Alberta, in a variety of roles, with students and families. She is eager to assist our clients overcome barriers in their lives in order to achieve their employment goals. We are excited to have her on our team!

Kelly is our Program Coordinator & Marketing Manager. She has a degree in Business Management – Marketing and is excited to build new relationships with the students, clients, staff, and the community.

Maria will likely be the first person to greet you when you visit our Lethbridge office. As our Administrative Assistant, she joined our team in 2024 and brings over 15 years of dedicated experience in the educational sector. For the past five years, she has specialized in helping students navigate the complexities of student loans, providing invaluable guidance and resources to ensure their financial success. Maria enjoys working on the front lines, where she loves meeting new students and job seekers.

Marian is our Health Care Aide Program Administrator. She has a Bachelor of Nursing Degree, and was an Administrator of a long term care facility, before joining our team in 2015 as the day instructor for the Health Care Aide Program. Marian’s favourite part of working at Training Inc. is seeing the students advance in their skills and knowledge to become excellent Health Care Aides.

Mary joined the Training Inc. team in 1994, 2 years after the company was established. She was initially hired as an Employment Advisor and advanced into more progressive responsibilities, including managing the Employment Services Division. Prior to working at Training Inc. Mary completed a Bachelor Degree and worked in counselling and crisis support. She believes strongly in the value that work brings to people’s lives, and genuinely enjoys helping people on their journey to find training or employment.

Mercy Lar graduated as a Registered Nurse in December 2005 in Maryland, USA. Mercy worked for seven years in Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Home Care. In 2012 Mercy and her family moved to Lethbridge, and she worked in both Long Term Care as well as Home Care Nursing. Mercy currently works at Training Inc. as a Health Care Instructor with the evening class, and facilitates the diversity component of the Security Professional Training program.

Mindy has been with Training Inc. since 2007. She is the Rural Office Manager, overseeing the Cardston, Pincher Creek, and Crowsnest Pass offices to ensure their smooth operations. Mindy is backed by extensive office administration experience, and customer service experience and she thoroughly enjoys working with our students, clients, and staff.

Natalie recently joined Training Inc. as an Employment Advisor in May 2024. Since graduating from the University of Lethbridge in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Natalie has been immersed in the helping profession working with vulnerable populations in housing and addictions through case management and crisis support. Her heart for people has also led her to pursue part-time Graduate Studies in Counselling Psychology. Natalie is excited to be a part of the Training Inc. team as she utilizes her passion for support, connection, and growth.

Shelley is our Clinical Placement Coordinator for the Health Care Aide program. She had 26 years of administrative experience before joining our team in 2016. If you’re a Health Care Aide student, you will get to know her very well since she has an active role in getting each student ready for their practicum placements. Shelley loves working with students; seeing their confidence grow and skills develop as they move through the Health Care Aide Program.

Shelley has been a part of our team of Employment Counsellors at Training Inc. since 2018. After obtaining her Bachelor of Social Work Degree, Shelley used her skills and education to help vulnerable individuals impacted by homelessness, addictions, and mental health challenges. Shelley’s favourite part of working at Training Inc. is the variety of people she meets everyday, which keeps her role flexible and exciting.

Richard commenced his Training Inc. position of Security Professional Training Program Coordinator in August 2023 after completing 47 years in the Canadian Criminal Justice System. Richard served as a Licensed Private Investigator before joining the Alberta Solicitor General Correctional Services where he served as a Correctional Officer, Living Unit Officer, Probation Officer, and Parole Officer. Richard then commenced a casual Criminal Justice Instructor position at the Lethbridge College in the School of Justice and Human Services until 2018. Richard served with the Corps of Commissionaires Security Service, GardaWorld Security Services, and Paladin Security Services in Lethbridge before joining Training Inc.. Richard is a graduate of the Lethbridge College Law Enforcement Program and a graduate of the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sociology.

Ron is a Job Developer at the Lethbridge Training Inc. office. He networks with local employers to help them fill their job openings, and he supports job seekers to find and maintain satisfying employment. Ron holds a Bachelor of Management degree with a specialty in Human Resources and Industrial Labour Relations. He has many years of experience as a Trainer and Coordinator.

Wanda is the day class Health Care Aide Instructor at Training Inc. She is a Licenced Practical Nurse, and has been for the past 17 years. Prior to becoming an LPN, she worked in long-term care facilities. Equaling  24 years of experience in the field. Wanda believes that respecting each other while sharing each other’s experiences creates a great learning environment.
